Who can apply?

The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Must not have a criminal record in Thailand or your home country.

  • Must not have been declared bankrupt or mentally incompetent.

  • Must be able to pay the membership fee (varies by package).

  • Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport, have no history of imprisonment (except for offenses committed due to negligence), not have been adjudicated bankrupt, not have been declared as a person of unsound mind, and must not have previously overstayed more than one visa in Thailand.

  • You will need to submit a completed and signed application form, a copy of your passport’s biodata page, a recent passport-sized colour photograph, and, if applicable, proof of relationship documents for family members (such as birth or marriage certificates) as a starting point.

  • The application process typically takes between one to three months, depending on the applicant’s nationality and the thoroughness of the background check conducted by Thai immigration authorities.
